Anyone with Aperture experience...please feel free to call me!!

12/1/11

Bella in the big bath.

13/1/11

Nanny tracing Tom's foot. Both Biddy and Tom appeared with some paper and pens and wanted their hands and feet raced. I remember when Tom wouldn't have a bar of doing anything like this........

14/1/11

Our dessert tonight. Also the one of the products that our milk goes into. And for those that don't know.....Bulla is a Colac company!

15/1/11

Ahhh......new love. Today Mark and I attended the wedding of Michelle and John. Michelle is a friend of our family (her mum and dad are good friends of Mark's mum and dad) and she also worked for us for about 2 years as a milker. Michelle's mum - Dot - is one of the midwives at the hospital and she was the one that delivered Bella!

16/1/11

This is the first of my layouts for this month. I am trying to get another one completed before the month is out...but at least I have this one done. It was based on a scrap layout by Andrea Walford (Canada). Talented lady.

10 & 11th January

10/1/11

Looky what I got for Christmas! Yes, I got a new laptop and this time - for the first time in my life - it is a Mac. Today I received in the mail my new MacBook cover and backpack/computer case! Got them in turquoise to match each other.

Bewdiful!!!!

11/1/11
(what a date! only to be surpassed by 11th November)

This is a card I made today for my Graceful Impresssions blogsite. I am starting to put some tutorials on that site for my customers and this one was on using Shimmer Paint. Check it out!

7 - 9th January

7/1/11

This is the view of the backyard and house from the cubby house (aka club house, tree house).

8/1/11

After an aborted trip to Fairhaven to see friends (they were sick), we took the kids down to Johanna Beach for a look after doing a spot of 4 wheel driving through the Otways up the back of Lavers Hill. Trust me...you need a decent 4wd there! Here we are having a picnic with our new picnic basket (that Mark and I got for Chrissy) at Carlisle River.

9/1/11

Biddy is horse CRAZY. She loves them so much and got many My Little Ponies for Christmas. Here she was playing quietly for about half an hour with them. Ahhh bliss!!!

January 5 & 6th

5/1/11

Eating potato - in any form - is a battle for Tom. Dry retching normal follows a mouthful of mashed spud. You can see that he is not overly rapt with having to eat this lot.

6/1/11

We were contacted yesterday to see if we would host a media launch of a funding program the government is providing for the food and fibre industries. The money will build a new information network meaning that farmers and farm advisors will be able to access relevant information more readily. This pic is of Mark with all the relevant persons (from left); Peter Walsh, David O'Brien, Anne McDowell (DPI), Simon Ramsey, Mark & Terry Mulder.

January 1st - 4th

I am not going to be able to post the pics every day, but rest assured, I will attempt to take them every day.

Here is what I have so far:

1/1/11

Playing Monopoly with family with the new set that Mark got for Christmas from his sister. Mark won, worst luck. By a landslide. Damn.....

2/1/11

A family pic of us at the extended Billing family NY BBQ

3/1/11

How many toys do you need in the bath? I can barely get to the baby!

4/1/11

This is my office that I try to create works of art!! LOL. It needs a clean up. Badly.

January 1, 2011

What's this all about?

Ok. You might be wondering what this is about. Or not. Either way, this is a bit of background to why I have created the '365-12 Project'.

Since becoming a SU! demonstrator, I have found that whilst I super enjoy what I do, much of my time is not spent actually doing scrapbooking, cardmaking etc. A lot of my time is spent working on the business and doing rather mundane stuff, like bookwork, research and samples. I was recently trawling through the web and I landed on a friend's site. On it she discussed that she was intending to devote more time to scrapbooking this year and that she was going to loosely follow another scrappers challenge of taking a photo every day/week/month (whatever you felt you could manage). I thought this sounded like a tops idea, and I am embarking on my own challenge which has come about due to the pathetically low number of scrapbooking pages I completed in 2010.

Hence, the birth of the '365-12 Project'.

The "rules" for me are quite simple; take a photo EVERY DAY of 2011 and scrap at least 1 layout EACH MONTH.

Can I stick to it? I don't know, but I am going to give it a fair crack. Cheer/encourage/cajole/berate me along the way. I might need the support to keep at it! I doubt that I will upload pics every day, but I WILL endeavor to take them every day!

Check out the other pages I have created which house the daily pictures and the monthly scrapbook pages.
